Both strawberries and wheatgrass provide a host of nutrients to the body making them super healthy to enjoy daily. Both high in antioxidants, vitamins A, C and E, iron, magnesium, calcium and amino acids, this smoothie is easy to enjoy daily.

Ingredients (1 serve)
- 3/4C strawberries
- 1 bunch homegrown wheatgrass microgreen
- 2cm ginger, grated
- 1/2 fresh lemon, juiced
- 1 C Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp protein powder (plant base)
Optional
Instead of yogurt, you can can replace it with water, coconut water, soymilk, almond milk etc. For variety can replace the strawberries or add extra raspberries, pomegranates, blueberries, beetroots, or whatever takes your fancy.
Method
- Place all the ingredients in a high powered blender and blend until smooth and creamy. If you like your smoothies thin, add orange juice or water. Pour into a glass. Enjoy!
