How do we grow our sprouts?
Why do we love our sprouts so much? That's because sprouts are simply remarkable. When the seeds germinate (soaked and activated) it kick starts the sprouting process. Magic happens and a number of amazing reactions takes place.
The dormant seeds now become alive, and the sprouts become jam-packed with nutrients, vitamins and minerals. From the humble beginnings of a dormant seed, the sprouts have now become a living and active food source.
Most of the other sprout products on the market are grown in high volume, large batches and packed to sell. All our sprouts are individually grown in their own punnets. Baby sproutlings are planted and left to grow on their own till they are ready to leave our farm and delivered fresh to your local markets every day. Our sprouts continues to grow in their punnets until they are eaten - so we really mean it when we say our sprouts are fresh!
So how can you tell the difference between the living sprouts and the packed sprouts? Great question! If you notice jumbled up sprouts with no direction, they are basically cut flowers, and will wilt in no time. With our products, all the green leafy parts of the sprouts face up while the white parts face down - exactly like how a plant would grow naturally.
Here is a short video on how it all works:
We take pride in making small carbon footprints and one of the ways we are able to achieve this is to design our packaging as compact as possible without compromising on the volume. Our tubs may look deceptively small but they pack a punch!
