Adzuki bean sprouting seeds
Taste: Originally cultivated in East Asia, adzuki bean sprouts are quite similar to mung beans. With a beautiful red colour, crispy texture and delicious sweet hazelnut flavour they can be added raw to salads, wraps and smoothies. They’re also fantastic in soups.
Nutrition: Low in fat and calories, but rich in protein (especially if you eat the husks), adzuki bean sprouts are sometimes referred to as the ‘weight loss bean’. Like most beans, they’re also rich in soluble fibre, enhancing digestive health and helping to reduce toxins in the body and cholesterol.
