Rocket sprouting seeds - Microgreens
Taste: Any fan of the plant must try the spicy and peppery taste of rocket microgreens.
Rocket seeds are mucilaginous. (Mucilage is a thick, gluey substance produces by all plants, some more than others.)Sprinkle the dry seeds over the soil. If you soak rocket seeds, they will turn the water quite thick and you will not be able to sprinkle the seeds evenly.
Nutrition: The bright leafy emerald greens are rich in chlorophyll, amino acids and vitamins C, E, B and K. They also contain beta-carotenes, as well as lutein and zeaxanthin (eye health). Rocket is also a source of glucosinolates.
Source: Our rocket seeds are sourced both Australia and New Zealand.
Growing time: 4-7 days (sprouts), 8-12 days (microgreens).
Our seed bags are made from a natural woven blend of cotton and muslin. For longer shelf life please store your seeds in an airtight container.
