Mixed sprouting seeds
Taste: Pre-mixed bag of our favourite beans and lentils with a crispy and crunchy texture.
Nutrition: Red lentils are even higher in nutrition when sprouted. Rich in protein, they’re a great choice for vegans and vegetarian diets with excellent levels of vitamin A, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, C, potassium, iron and phosphorus. Try substituting 80g of freshly-sprouted red lentils for one tin of lentils in your next recipe.
Adzuki beans are low in fat and calories, but rich in protein (especially if you eat the husks), adzuki bean sprouts are sometimes referred to as the ‘weight loss bean’. Like most beans, they’re also rich in soluble fibre, enhancing digestive health and helping to reduce toxins in the body and cholesterol.
Mung beans are one of the most nutritionally dense foods, mung bean sprouts provide an excellent source of vitamins, minerals, proteins and enzymes. They’re very low in calories and high in vitamin K, vitamin C, iron, folate and fibre. They’re also a great source of potassium.
Source: Our red lentils and adzuki beans are sourced from Australia. The mung beans are hand-sourced from the artisan basin of the Darling Downs, Central and Northern Queensland.
Growing time: 3-4 days.
Our seed bags are made from a natural woven blend of cotton and muslin. For longer shelf life please store your seeds in an airtight container.
